Four Turkish soldiers were injured, one of them in a critical condition, this evening, January 09, as the Syrian regime forces targeted their base (scientific research base) on the outskirts of the occupied city of Azaz with heavy artillery. They were transferred into Turkish territory through the Bab al-Salama crossing.
Our reporter indicated that the shelling led to the complete destruction of a military vehicle of the Turkish forces, in addition to material damage inside the base.
In a related context, the Turkish forces shelled the outskirts of the city of Tal Rifaat, Ahras farms, and the vicinity of the Syrian regime forces’ points in the village of Kafr Nasih in al-Shahba area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, with heavy artillery. No reports of damage received.
