afrinpost – Exclusive

Armed thieves stole, at dawn January 16, the savings of a Kurdish person of money and gold after they tied him and his wife in Al-Zaydiyah neighborhood, while an IDP loyal to Turkey illegally sold a house he had seized in the occupied city of Afrin.

Our reporter in Afrin stated that armed thieves entered the home of Ahmed Hanu (65 years old), who owns a grocery store, at around 3:00 in the morning on Tabala Street in Al-Zaydiya neighborhood, and tied him and his wife, Zainab, then stole what they found of money and gold.

In another context, an IDP from Damascus Ghouta sold the house of “Khail Muhammad,” a resident of the village of Shekhorzeh, located in the old neighborhood of Afrin, for $1,200, the reporter said.
