The Turkish-backed militants and IDPs in Afrin continue to seize and trade in the property of the people of Afrin without accountability since occupying the region in mid-March 2018.
Our reporter stated that an IDP called Ahmed Issa, who is from Eastern Ghouta, sold four seized houses to another IDP called “Abu Suhaib al-Shami.”
The houses are located near Maysalun School in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood and are owned by each of the persons (Khalil Omar and Hassan Omar, who are from the village of Basouta, Ali Akkash from the Arab component, and Muhyiddin Ismail from the village of Quba) for one thousand dollars for each house, and the latter (the buyer) rented those houses for his own benefit, the reporter said.
The so-called “Ahmed Issa” also sold a house belonging to the citizen “Abdo Hannan,” who is from the village of Khalnereh, for $1,700. The house is located on the new western highway in the occupied city of Afrin.
Also, an armed member of the Turkish-backed “Sultan Murad” militia, called “Muhammad al-Dali – hails from the city of Aleppo” sold the house of the Kurdish woman, “Amina Ahmed,” who is from the village of Sariya – Maabatli, for $1,200, the reporter added.
