An IDP refused to vacate a house that he had seized earlier in the village of Qujuma in Jindires district, after the return of its owner, as many families, with his family to their villages in the district.
Our reporter stated that the IDP called “Abu Ihsan” refuses to vacate the house in which he resides in the village of Qujuma after the return of its owner, the citizen “Hassan Bakr”, who filed a complain to the Turkish-backed “Al-Hamza Division” that controls the village, about ten days ago.
However, the militia supported the IDP, who works as a cattelman for one of the organizations operating in Afrin, where he required $1,500 to vacate the house.
Our reporter added that about 100 Kurdish families arrived in Jindires district in recent months, coming from Lebanon, Turkey and Aleppo, but only 4 families were able to restore their homes amid the IDPs’ refusal to vacate the seized homes of the forcibly displaced people of Afrin.
In addition, our reporter said that yesterday, August 28, an IDP from the southern countryside of Aleppo refused to vacate a house he seized in al-Zaydiyah neighborhood in the occupied city of Afrin, although the owner of the house, Hanif Othman, who is from the village of Jwaiq, filed a complaint against him in a desperate attempt to restore his house.
