Two ISIS members smuggled out of Rajo prison, Afrin

afrinpost – Special

Our sources in Afrin reported that the Turkish-backed Military Police and Ahrar al-Sharqiya smuggled, on Thursday, July 21, two ISIS members from the Military Police prison in the town of Rajo for huge sums.

The two men were arrested about seven months ago on charges of belonging to the terrorist organization “ISIS”, while they were trying to cross the border from the Maydan Akbas area – Raju district towards Turkish territory.

However, the Military Police and Ahrar al-Sharqiya militias seized $35,000 for their smuggling from Raju Prison.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish intelligence arrested the IDP “Akram Qumber” (42 years old), who lives in Manhal Al-Miyah Street, next to the Maysaloon School in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, on charges of belonging to the “Ahrar Jabal Al-Zawiya” militia previously and pledging allegiance to the terrorist organization “ISIS” between 2014 and 2015.

The US forces and its planes carry out military operations from time to time targeting leaders of the terrorist organization “ISIS” in the areas under Turkish control. The last of which was when the US Department of Defense announced, on 12/7/2022, the killing of the leader of the “ISIS” organization in Syria called “Maher Al-Aqal”, by a strike carried out by an American drone in the district of Jenderes.
