Pro-Turkey “Samarkand” militia randomly cut down olive trees, in Afrin

Our reporter stated that the leader in “Samarkand” militia, who is from Idlib, and seven of his affiliates ride their motorcycles every day, and they randomly cut olive trees from the fields of the villages of Jumkeh, Qastal Kishk, Qibar and Qara Tabeh.

According to our reporter, the seven members and their leader collect the cut trees in a sawmill located on the outskirts of Al-Serfees Street in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, and start chopping and packing them in bags, and then shipping them to Idlib, where they are sold.

Our reporter confirmed that each element transports about four loads of firewood on a daily basis, after cutting two or three trees from each agricultural land.

In the same context, our correspondent reported that gunmen cut down about 80 olive trees from a land located in the vicinity of the village of Qirt Qulaq, belonging to the citizen “Hannan Ibrahim” from the village of Khalta, and he lives in the occupied city of Afrin.
