A group of IDPs in the village of Ba’e in Shirawa district, beat the elderly Kurdish citizen Nasser Omar Alloush severly, which led to the breaking of his right arm and right leg, in addition to wounds and bruises all over his body. It is reported that the elderly Nasser said in a video, circulated on social media, that had it not been for the intervention of a person who identified him as “Assaad”, he would have been cut up by the IDPs.

It is noteworthy that the village of Ba’e is under the control of the Turkish-backed “Faylaq Al-Sham” militia, and the incident took place in full view of the gunmen, who did not intervene, and the incident is not the first in the area, as the IDPs continue to encroach on the property of the village’s Kurdish residents and attack them.

In the nearby village of Basofan, on May 14, 2022, IDPs from the village of Maasran in the countryside of Maarat al-Numan attacked two Yazidi citizens, the two brothers: “Fathi Ezzat Barakat” (21 years old), and “Barakat Izzat Barakat” (23 years old), because they prevented them from tending their sheep on their land.
