The house of a Kurdish citizen was robbed this morning, Thursday, by armed robbers in the city of Afrin.

Our reporter stated that a group of armed thieves broke into the house of the citizen “Muhammad Khalil” from the village of Kobake – Mobata district, in al-Zeydiyah neighborhood in the center of the city of Afrin, and stole a gas jar, a battery and a motorcycle from him.

On May 24, a group of armed thieves robbed a house and a grocery store after they drugged its owner and his wife, in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood in the center of the city of Afrin.

Cases of theft and banditry occur almost on a daily basis targeting the indigenous Kurdish people of Afrin, in light of militia fighting, chaos and insecurity in the city of Afrin, in addition to the spread of weapons among the Turkish-supported elements and IDPs.
