The security elements of the Turkish-backed “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia at the Kawa roundabout seized a shop in the al-Sina’a area in the occupied city of Afrin.
Our reporter stated that the shop belonged to “Mohammed Yousef” from the village of Atmana / Atmanli – Rajo district. It was seized by an IDP earlier, until “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” members expelled him and then rented it to another for 50 dollars per month.
In the same context, a member of the Turkish-backed “Liwaa al-Shamal” militia sold the house of the forcibly displaced citizen “Mohammed Suleiman” from Bulbul district, located at the Nowruz roundabout in the center of Afrin, to an IDP from Saqba in Damascus countryside, for $2500.
The looting, theft, and illegal sale of the seized properties of the indigenous Kurdish residents of Afrin by pro-Turkey militia gunmen and IDPs continue, in light of the Turkish authority’s ignoring of the different kinds of violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin.
