The Turkish authorities re-arrested two Kurdish citizens from the border town of Meydan Akbas – Rajo district. After a forced displacement journey that lasted for about four years, they decided to return from Aleppo to their city Afrin, to face accusations and get arrested every now and then.
According to our sources, a patrol of the civil police militia, accompanied by elements of the Turkish intelligence, arrested on May 14, 2022 for the second time the citizen Hussein Haider Bilal, 58 years old, on charges of appearing on a TV channel during the war on Afrin region and making statements opposing the Turkish war.
“The other arrested citizen is Ali Ahmed Kashi, 27, accused of going out on guard for one day during the previous Autonomous Administration period.” the sources added.
It is worth mentioning that the Turkish-supported “Faylaq Al-Sham” militia had arrested the citizens “Ali and Hussein” in mid-April, after they arrived in the town from the city of Aleppo. They spent several days in prison, and they were released in exchange for paying each of them 2,500 Turkish liras as a ransom.
