The Turkish authorities arrested three Kurdish citizens and demanded a ransom of one thousand dollars in exchange for the release of a fourth in the region of Afrin, northern Syria.
In the details, our reporter said that the Turkish intelligence arrested on May 23, the citizen “Mamo Hamza” (57 years old) and his father, the citizen “Ibrahim Hamza” (75 years old), from the town of Sharra, on charges that they worked in the neighborhood council (Komen) during the former Autonomous Administration in the Afrin region.
“The “Political Security” militia also arrested on May 11, the citizen “Ahmed Naasan” (32 years old), from the village of Raja – Mobata district, after his identity was searched at al-Mahmudiya checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Afrin.” thr reporter added.
They released him that evening after he paid $150 and beat him without any charges being brought against him.
In the same context, the Turkish-backed “al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia demanded the family of the citizen, “Mohammed Daoud Amro” (37 years), for a sum of one thousand dollars, as a condition for his release.
It is worth mentioning that a patrol of the “Political Security” militia, accompanied by members of the security office of the “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia, which is located at the Kawa roundabout, launched a raid campaign in the neighborhoods surrounding al-Ashrafieh neighborhood park, on May 25, and arrested the citizen “Mohammed Daoud Amro”, who works in a popular music band in Afrin as (Tabal), on charges of performing mandatory military service in the previous Autonomous Administration period in Afrin region.
