afrinpost – Special

Three people, including two gunmen from the Turkish-backed “military police”, were injured today, Saturday, when a motorcycle exploded in the center of the city of Afrin.

According to our reporter, a booby-trapped motorcycle exploded near a security checkpoint near the headquarters of the Turkish commando forces, which are stationed in the Faisal Qaddour School on Jindires Road, west of the city of Afrin.

“The explosion led to the injury of three people, including two gunmen, and caused material damage, as a section of the Shami restaurant (owned by an IDP from Eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside) was damaged.” the reporter added.

The “Military Police” militia claimed that they arrested the mastermind of the explosion, a person who filmed the explosion with his mobile phone’s camera, and took him to an unknown destination.

A security cordon was imposed in the vicinity of the explosion site, amid the mobilization of the Turkish forces in the Faisal Kaddour School.
