Pro-Turkey militants cut down 40 Pomegranate trees, in Al-Gazawiya village, Afrin

Turkish-backed armed militants and IDPs continue to carry out indiscriminate cutting of trees of the people of the region of Afrin, despite the end of the winter season, in order to trade in them and destroy private property.

According to our reporter, pro-Turkey gunmen cut down 40 pomegranate trees belonging to the citizen “Ahmed Battal” from the village of Ghazzawiya in Sherawa district in Afrin, from his land near the water canal on the village road.

Ut is worth mentioning that militants of the Turkish-backed “Faylaq Al-Sham” have cut down on May 14th, about 110 olive trees in Sherawa district, including 50 olive trees for the forcibly displaced to Aleppo, “Jamil Ahmed Ahmed,” from the village of Kabashin, where the land is located on the outskirts of the village. In addition to 60 olive trees belonging to the citizen “Jamil Nasro” from the village of Basoufan, at the beginning of May.
