Pro-Turkey “Division 21” militia attack Kurdish family in Jinderes, Afrin

afrinpost

Our reporter in Afrin said that the Turkish-backed “Division 21” militia, known as the (Second Army), attacked on Friday, May 27, the family of the Kurdish citizen “Subhi Kakman” (men and women) in his house near a checkpoint belonging to it in the center of the Jindires town in Syria’s Afrin.

After Friday prayers and during the young man’s return to his home near the automated bakery, a member of the security barrier of the “Division 21” militia refused to raise the iron gate to allow him to enter his motorcycle into the house because the barrier surrounds him on all sides.

The militant on the checkpoint hit the young man in his face, and then the other militants (about 10 members) intervened. Hearing the fight and loud screaming, his father, the citizen “Subhi”, his brothers “Mustafa and Suleiman” and their wives tried to save him, except the militants gathered on them and beat them all. This was followed by the checkpoint’s gunmen shooting directly at the house, threatening the family to expel them from the house and hurling insults and racist words at them.” The reporter added.

The Kakman family is from the village of Hammam – Jindires district, but has lived on 16th Street in the city center long time ago.

As for the security barrier, it is led by the so-called “Abu Saddam,” who is, as most of the militia members, from Jabal al-Zawiya in Idlib countryside, and the family suffers daily harassment every time they leave the house .
