Increased theft and looting before Pro-Turkey militants eyes, in Syria’s Afrin

The city of Afrin and its villages are witnessing an increase in cases of theft of motorcycles, solar panels and other machines, in rampant phenomenon since the Turkish forces and their backed militias took the control of Afrin for nearly four years.

According to our reporter, ” a motorcycle, belonging to the citizen “Abdul Rahman Muhammad” from the village of Shara / Sharan, was stolen last Thursday, 19 May, from his place of residence in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood in Afrin city.

“On the same day, armed robbers stole solar panels and a battery for the citizen “Omar Mahmoud” from the village of Dargireh in Mobata district, from his home in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood.” the reporer added.

“As for the third incident, it took place on Wednesday, May 18, after the people of the village of Kurzele returned from their agricultural lands, where armed thieves stole spray irrigation systems from the villagers’ lands.”
