At the end of last March (estimated at March, 28), the Turkish authorities arrested four Kurdish citizens from the villages of Memala and Miskê in Rajo district, including a seventy-year-old man, on charges of dealing with the former Autonomous Administration in Afrin city, northern Syria.

According to our sources, a joint patrol of Turkish intelligence and the so-called “military police” militia arrested the two brothers “Hussein Qara, 62, and Hassan Qara, 55” and the elderly Sabri Yousef Julak, 72, from their homes in the village of Malala, in Rajo district, on charges of going out in funeral ceremonies of people killed during terrorist attacks by Turkish forces on the village of Mamala, back in 2018.

It is worth mentioning that more than 80 citizens were arrested in Afrin last March, bringing the total number to about two hundred male and female detainees since the beginning of 2022.
