Turkey strengthens political Islam and builds more religious institutes in occupied Afrin

Afrin and all of the occupied regions in northern Syria are witnessing remarkable expanding and consolidating the infrastructure of political Islam, from building mosques, institutes for imams and preachers, and schools for memorizing the Qur’an, through the Muslim Brotherhood’s charitable and religious advocacy institutions, especially those associated with the Directorate of Religious Affairs “Diyanet”, which is directly related to the Turkish president, as well as to the associations and organizations associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, which receives its funding primarily from Qatar.

On March 3, the “Imam Khatib” religious School was opened in the city of Jenderes by the Turkish authorities, in coordination with the “White Hands” Muslim Brotherhood assosiation.

Also, On the 26th of March, a delegation from the Istanbul Ifta and the Arnaout Fatwa inaugurated the Baraem Al-Jannah Kindergarten / 5 / in Bulbul district, noting that the number of Quran memorization institutes in Bulbul district alone amounted to 18, in addition to building mosques in the villages of Ali Jaro, Akan, Sharqiya and Abudane.
