Displaced Kurdish child died, as a landmine exploded in al-Shahba

A forcibly displaced child, from Afrin, was killed yesterday evening, Tuesday 26/1/2021, as a result of the explosion of a landmine in al-Shahba areas.

According to the afrinpost correspondent, the Kurdish child, Muhammad Aziz Hussein (14 years), from the village of Basliha, of Sherawa district, was killed on Tuesday evening 01/26/2021, as a result of the explosion of a landmine left over from ISIS in the area.

The afrinpost correspondent reported that the child “Muhammad” was injured by a landmine explosion, and he was treated at Afrin Hospital in the town of Fafin and stated that his condition was very critical due to the severe injury that affected large parts of his body.

The child, Muhammad Hussein, was residing with his family in the town of Tall Rifat. A mine exploded with him while he was tending sheep in the agricultural lands around the town of Hayyan.

It is noteworthy that the number of child victims has increased in such incidents as well as in the shelling incidents carried out by the Turkish occupation forces and the militias of the Muslim Brotherhood. The last of which was the death of four people and the wounding of eight others in the Turkish shelling on the town of Tall Rifat on Saturday 01/23/2021.
