Turkish soldiers seize Kurdish widow’s house in Qizilbasha village, Afrin countryside

afrinpost – Special

Turkish soldiers and armed men from the “Suqour al-Shamal” have been seizing the house of a Kurdish widow in the village of Qizlbasha-Bulbul for three years, while the widow and her children are struggling to secure a home for them in the center of the occupied Afrin region in northern Syria.

The afrinpost learned from its sources that Turkish soldiers and gunmen from the “Suqour al-Shamal” are occupying the house of the Kurdish citizen (A.Sh.D) – we are reluctant to mention the full name for security reasons – and have been preventing her from returning for nearly three years.

The sources pointed out that the gunmen were not satisfied with that, but rather tried to blackmail and assault her daughters, after they submitted a request to restore their home, noting that the family has since been staying in rented houses, but their conditions have worsened recently and they are now staying with family friends.

The incident is only one of the continuous robbery and seizure operations since the occupation of Afrin, and the Islamic militias in most villages have prevented many citizens from returning to their homes and properties after they seized them, under the pretext that they have become military headquarters for the Islamic militia, or that settlers from the families of the armed have settled there. !
