afrinpost – Special
afrinpost correspondent in al-Shahba areas said that the Turkish occupation forces renewed, on Saturday, their shelling with heavy weapons for several villages in al-Shahba and Sherawa district, east of Afrin.
The reporter explained that the shelling focused on the village of Soghanaki of Sherawa, as well as the villages of al-Shawargha, Qalat Shawarqa, Maranaz and Malikiyah, while the shelling is still continuing until the moment of publication of the news.
This comes at a time when the Turkish occupation continues to send militants from the Islamic militia known as the “National Army” to the occupied areas in northeastern Syria, to put them in the aggressive battles against the Syrian Democratic Forces on the axis of Ain Issa city, north of Raqqa.
According to the afrinpost correspondent at the center of Afrin region, a convoy of the “al-Shamiya Front” militia set out today towards the city of Azaz, heading from it to the east of the Euphrates to support the invading Turkish forces in the Ain Issa axes.
The correspondent added that the Turkish occupation had previously sent a batch of “Jaish a-Islam/ Army of Islam” militia gunmen to the Ain Issa axes, in northeastern Syria.
The Turkish occupation forces and their Islamic militias increased the pace of bombing Ain Issa Town, in an attempt to advance to it, in light of the failure of attempts to advance to the city center as a result of the Syrian democratic forces’ confrontation.
