afrinpost obtained, from its own sources, information about the properties, real estate and workshops that were seized by the prosecutor Abdul Karim Jamal Qassoum and Osama Rahal in the town of Baadina – Rajo and other villages, who are leaders of the 112th Brigade, which was known as the “Ahfad al-Rasoul Brigades” and it is affiliated with the militia of the 11th Division – First Corps. Within the ranks of the “Syrian National Army / Free Army” militia affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood.
The so-called Abdul Karim Jamal Qassoum
Abdul Karim Jamal Qassoum, nicknamed Abu Jamal, comes from the village of Kafar Batikh in Jabal al-Zawiya, Idlib, and holds the position of commander in chief of the 112th Brigade.
He opend, from the money he earned from thefts, robbery and kidnapping, a number of commercial and industrial shops after seizing the buildings belonging to the townspeople, which are the following:
-An automatic baking oven, located in the Hamid Shukri olive press building in Baadina village.
-A furnace for the production of lead for the manufacture of batteries, in a building in the village of Khaziyana
-A money exchange and remittance center in Baadina village.
-The so-called Abdul Karim forced the owners of four olive presses in the town of Baadina to sell him birine (Arjun olive), the quantity is about / 1500 / tons, and impose a price of / $ 30 / per ton, which is 10 dollars, a difference of / 15 / thousand dollars.
-Seizing the house of a forcibly displaced citizen in a village in Baadina.
The so-called Osama Rahal
Osama Rahal, nicknamed (Abu Hassan Obama), comes from the village of Maalali, located in Jabal al-Zawiya – Idlib, and is the military commander of the 112th Brigade.
Since the announcement of the occupation of Afrin region, he has seized a house in the village of Baadina – Rajo, as well as about / 6 / thousand olive trees from the fields of the village of Khaziana – Mobata / Maabatli, owned by the people of Afrin, the forcibly displaced Kurds, and he is serving them by harnessing the people of the town of Baadina with their tractors, saws and tools and agricultural sector, without paying them any wages.
-He installed a new mill this year in a building owned by a forcibly displaced Kurdish citizen, Habash Habash Battal, from the village of Dumliya – Rajo, and forced the people to squeeze their olive harvest in it.
-He trades in firewood that he collects from cutting olive and forest trees, and has a center and a large warehouse in the Rashid Dahdu gas station in Baadina, which he has seized since 2018
-Recently, he cut down a large willow tree in front of the Shaban olive press in the center of the town of Baadina, as well as a perennial pine tree (175 years old) – northwest of the village of Dumliya, to get tons of firewood from them.
