In the context, local sources reported from inside Afrin that the economic office of al-Hamzat militia, run by Abu Ishaq, issued orders to start a comprehensive census of the entire property of the forcibly displaced Kurdish citizens in the village of Marateh of Afrin city center, in preparation for seizing and investing it, under the pretext The owners of these properties dealt with the Autonomous Administration, according to the Human Rights Organization – Afrin.
It is noteworthy that the seizure of citizens’ property began on the day of the announcement of the occupation of Afrin region under the name of spoils, and included robbery and plundering of houses and shops in the city, and continued through the seizure of olive fields and houses, and then trading them among themselves.
