Militia fighters of the Muslim Brotherhood organization and their settler relatives continue to trade in the properties of the people of Afrin, the Kurds, by buying, selling and renting. It is noteworthy that the trading operations are not limited to residential apartments, but rather to commercial shops and agricultural lands in order to provide job opportunities and sources of income that will stabilizing settlement and demographic change in the occupied Kurdish region Northern Syria.
The afrinpost correspondent reported that a gunman belonging to “Jaish al-Islam/ Army of Islam” militia sold two commercial stores in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, the first shop owned by Muhammad Ahmad Jasim from the village of Kafira, for an amount of $ 600, to a settler from Eastern Ghouta, and it is intended that the buyer will turn it into a restaurant.
The second shop belongs to Mohammed Ahmed from the village of Basouta and is located in the same area. It was sold for $ 600, and a cell phone store is supposed to open in it.
In the context of the seizure of the Kurdish people of Afrin as well, the militants of “Al-Mu’tasim” militia rented large areas of agricultural land, in the area near the arc at the entrance to Afrin on the side of the Aleppo road, to settlers with small sums, and a plot of land belonging to the Kurdish citizen Muhammad Salim was rented with an amount of 500 thousand Syrian pounds for a period of six months, while the leasing of two plots of land owned by the Kalash family from the first village of Qibar at 500 thousand Syrian pounds.
