33 months ago … unknown fate surrounds a kidnapped young Kurd in Afrin

Afrinpost – Special

The file of the kidnapped and forcibly disappeared is one of the most important complicated issues, as every militia of the Muslim Brotherhood organization has prisons and kidnaps Kurdish citizens without a judicial order, and the number of Kurdish citizens disappeared since the announcement of the occupation of Afrin region is not known. The Kurdish young man, Ahmed Sido Sheikho, is one of the kidnapped, about whom no information has been known.

Afrinpost correspondent reported that the fate of the young Kurdish citizen Ahmed Sheikho son of Sido from the village of Kela / Bulbul is still unknown, since the date of the kidnapping by “Failaq al-Sham” militia on 3/26/2018, that is, a week after the occupation of Afrin region.

Sheikho, born in 1998, was kidnapped on charges of being a member to the Self-Defense Forces and taken to the border town of Meydan Akbis, and he was placed in the town’s municipality prison, which is under the direct supervision of Turkish intelligence, and no information is available about the Kurdish youth.

It is known that the legal form of detention requires revealing the place of detention, and organizing visit schedules for his family, and before that it must be by virtue of a final court ruling, that is, exhausting the opportunities for protest, while what is happening in Afrin is a described kidnapping carried out by the military militia, which lacks a legal formula for its formation and its presence in Afrin, and the Coalition promoted propaganda for improving the conditions of detainees by Nasr Al Hariri’s visit to Afrin Central Prison on 3/9/2020, and the fact is that the visit is questionable, as it was announced after the international investigation committee was issued on 9/14/2020, so Ankara sent Hariri to Afrin, to beautify it, and claimed that the visit took place before the UN report was issued.
