“Afrinpost” learned from its sources that the “Samarkand” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization, yesterday, Sunday, kidnapped the Kurdish citizen, Abd al-Rahman Mustafa Ali (Aliko) in the village of Kafr Safra in the district of Jenderes in the countryside of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin. Northern Syria, due to his refusal to press olives in the press they occupy in the village, in partnership with local personalities.
“Aliko”, 24 years old, transferred his olive fruit to the press in the village of Kura / Goran – Jenderes, with the aim of pressing it. However, the militia considered this a violation of its instructions to prevent taking the olive out of the village area to control them and impose royalties on them.
In parallel, the “Samarkand” militia held a meeting in the militia’s security in the village of Kafr Safra with the owners of olive fields in the villages of Kafr Safra and Sidanke (Zinda), and conditions were imposed on them for clearing and pruning olive trees.
Where the militia set the daily wage for workers in clearing trees at (10) thousand Syrian pounds, provided that each worker pays an amount of two hundred Syrian pounds per day.
The militia also demanded that workers not cut the large branches that are used as firewood, in order to monopolize the sale of this product in its favor, as the militia unfairly scavenges the fields of the two villages’, which the militia occupy, to increase the quantities of firewood they have and trade them.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish occupation militias seized about 80 thousand olive trees, in addition to four thousand pomegranate trees in the center of Jenderes district and its villages.
