Afrinpost learned from its sources in Jenderes district that Turkish intelligence and the civilian “police” militia, in coordination with the militias of “Samarkand Brigade, al-Sharqiya Army and Ahrar al-Sham,” have launched a campaign of arrests against the villages of Goran, Kafar Safra, and the district center and resulted in the arrest of many Kurdish citizens, including women .
The sources said that 7 citizens were arrested in the village of Kafar Safra, and they are Shiyar Khilo – Almaz Hajj Abdo – Hassan Ayoub and his daughter Amina Ayoub – Akid Mustafa Khelo – Murad Khalil Murad – Murad Khilo), in addition to other names who were not at their homes at the time of the campaign, knowing that most of them had previously been arrested and had settled their legal status with the Occupation Court.
The sources added that the arrests campaign on the Kura / Goran village, which was carried out in coordination with the “Ahrar al-Sham” militia that occupies the village, resulted in the arrest of five Kurdish citizens, and a number of others in the district center, but he could not document their names, stressing that the number of detainees in this broad campaign is large, and more than 40 Kurdish citizens are estimated.
The sources noted that this campaign of arrests comes, as the previous ones, on charges of communicating with the Syrian Democratic Forces or joining its ranks during the era of the previous Autonomous Administration, and the aim of which is to restrict the remaining Kurdish citizens in the occupied region, through Extorting them financially to impoverish them and push them to leave their homes in order to complete the demographic change in favor of settlers loyal to the Turkish-Muslim Brotherhood government of justice and development.
