Afrinpost

Turkish security forces stormed, at dawn on September 22, 2020, the homes of several Kurdish civilians residing in the city of Istanbul, and they are from the occupied Afrin (from the village of Chaqale Gumeh), and arrested 11 of them without having arrest warrants against them or any evidence indicating their participation in prohibited activities.

All of the detainees have lived for years in Istanbul to escape the conditions of war in Syria, and they are:
(Three brothers): 1 – Farid Khalil Youssef, 2 – Ibrahim Khalil Youssef, 3 – Nuri Khalil Youssef.
(Two brothers): 4 – Walid Muhammad Ibrahim, 5 – Ibrahim Muhammad Ibrahim.
(Three brothers): 6 – Abdeen Rashid Moussa, 7 – Muhammad Rashid Moussa, 8 – Hassan Rashid Moussa.
(Three Brothers): 9 – Ibrahim Mustafa Ibrahim, 10 – Youssef Mustafa Ibrahim, 11 – Seydou Mustafa Ibrahim.

This is not the first time that the Turkish authorities have arrested citizens of Afrin on its lands, as she had arrested a Kurdish citizen (from the village of “Haj Hasanu” in the “Shih / Sheikh al-Hadid district”), on the fifth of last July, after her father was killed under torture.

At the time, the Afrinpost correspondent reported that the Turkish occupation authorities arrested the Kurdish citizen “Zainab Naasan,” the daughter of the citizen “Muhammad Ibish Naasan,” from the village of “Hajj Hasanu / Haj Hasanli” in Shiye district, while she was on her way with her husband to a hospital in Istanbul.

The correspondent confirmed that the citizen “Zainab” was pregnant, and while she was signing the required birth papers at the hospital, they arrested her on charges of dealing with “Asayish forces” in Afrin.

It should be noted that the citizen “Muhammad Ibish Naasan” from the village of Hajj Hasanli (Haji Hasanu) was martyred on July 2, 2018, under torture by the Turkish occupation militants, and he was 55 years old at the time.
