The Turkish occupation forces and its Islamic militias associated with the Muslim Brotherhood organization known as the “National Army” continue to launch arrest and kidnapping campaigns against the remaining indigenous Kurdish residents in the occupied Afrin region, within the framework of comprehensive steps to harass them and push them to leave their homes in favor of the settlers loyal to Ankara.

In this context, the occupation militia, this morning, Saturday morning, arrested the Kurdish citizen Zahir Rashid Fares from his home in Ashrafieh neighborhood in the center of the Kurdish region.

Rashid, 38, from the village of Maamla in Rajo district, residing in Afrin, according to the Afrinpost correspondent.

The reporter added that the Turkish occupation militias carried out two arrests during the past week, as the Turkish intelligence, about 5 days ago, arrested the citizen “Alaa Izzat Muhammad” from his home in Ashrafieh neighborhood, and “Alaa”, nicknamed “Alaa Tota,” from the village of Qibariyeh / Arish Qibar affiliated with the regional center.

Three days ago, a joint patrol of the Turkish intelligence and the “Military Police” militia raided the house of Kurdish citizen Masoud Ali Kilo in Baadina / Badanli-Rajo and arrested him on charges of going out on guard shifts during the previous Autonomous Administration days, and then took him to its headquarters in the town of Rajo.

Note that “Masoud” was born in 1995 and used to live in Turkey, but months after the occupation of the region, he returned to his village.
