Afrinpost – Special

Afrinpost correspondent said that the armed men of the “Sultan Murad” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization, robbed the olive harvest of the Kurdish citizen “Fatima Mustafa” in the village of Sinka / Sankarli affiliated with Shara / Sharan, indicating that the quantity of stolen olives reached (50 sacks – about 70 kg), which constitutes half of the seasonal crop that citizens reap from their fields.

And in continuation of the violations and theft of the olive season, the Hamzat militia imposes a transit fee for oil, seizes the fields of the displaced and stops the harvest operations to allow more theft, while “Al-Amshat” militia creates another method for the royalty on olive trees, dropping it on one side and increasing it on the other.

The “Hamzat” militia gunmen imposed royalties on the people of villages around the center of Afrin region, namely (Kaziyeh – Kafr Dale Fawqani – Kafr Dalie Tahtani – Maratah – Kfarshele – Bablit) in exchange for allowing them to harvest their olive crops, as the so-called “Abu Diab”, a checkpoint official of the militia imposed a tax of 2000 on each oil tank in these villages, except for the 15% rate on the total crop and the rate of pressing, as mentioned by Human Rights Afrin – Syria in a report.
