Afrinpost – Special
This morning, Saturday, a two-year-old Kurdish child, Yusef Ibrahim Abdo Othman, was killed by a stray bullet while he was at the door of his family’s house at Al-Vellat Street in the center of the occupied Afrin region in northern Syria, according to the Afrinpost correspondent in the city.
The correspondent added that the child Youssef and his father were at the door of the house, just getting out of it to visit a doctor, when a gunman of the Haroun group, which is affiliated with the “23rd Division” militia, fired at other gunmen who were riding a motorcycle, but a stray bullet hit the Kurdish child’s head directly, which led to his death.
The child Yusef is from the village of Kurzeleh / Qurziehel, of Afrin center.
Al-Vellat Street was considered one of the finest streets in Afrin, but under the occupation and the security chaos that accompanied it, the chaos of arms and the complete absence of accountability and law, it is now crowded with settlers, weapons shops, and the military headquarters of Islamic militias.
