Afrinpost – Special
Once again, the Turkish occupation army and armed militants of Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood known as the “Syrian National Army / Free Army” have set fire to olive trees, forest trees and agricultural crops in the villages of “Mayasa” and “Burj Al-Qas” of Sherawa district in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin.Yesterday, on Monday.
This comes in the context of continuing the deliberate burning of fields planted with seasonal crops, especially wheat and barley, in addition to the deliberate burning of forests and olive trees, in the context of the efforts of the occupying forces to harm Kurdish farmers, and to undermine their insistence on holding on to their lands, whether in Afrin or Al-Shahba, or the regions of northeastern Syria .
And Afrinpost correspondent in Al-Shahba said, on the twentieth of last May, that the Islamic militia set fire to more than 50 hectares of land planted with wheat and barley in the village of Hassia and Hasajek in the province of Al-Shahba, where it had been planted by the people of Shahba and Afrin who were displaced to the area.
