Two villages in the countryside of the occupied Kurdish Afrin region in northern Syria witnessed two cases of kidnapping of two young Kurds by the Turkish occupation militias and the Muslim Brotherhood, with the aim of financial extortion within the framework of the plan to restrict the remaining of the Kurdish indigenous population in order to displace them and completely empty the region for the benefit of the settlers loyal to Ankara.
In this context, the militia of “Jaish Al-Nikhba”, on July 6, kidnapped the young man, “Muhammad Ali Mustafa” from his house in the village of Darwish of “Shara / Sharan” district and took him to its headquarters, with the aim of blackmailing his family and obtaining a financial ransom.
For its part, “Sultan Muhammad al-Fateh ” militia on the same day kidnapped the Kurdish young man “Lawad Omar Samo” from his house in the village of “Ma’amala/Ma’amal Oshaghi” of Rajo district, and took him to its headquarters in the district center in order to extort financially his relatives, as militias always have done since they occupation of the Kurdish region on the eighteenth of March 2018.
To that, the correspondent of “Afrinpost” monitored the expansion of the random camps located at the top of Ashrafieh neighborhood in the center of the region, with more settlers coming from Idlib.
The reporter pointed out that the Turkish occupation is bringing more settlers from Idlib governorate, so that they can be settled in the camps located in the vicinity of the Water Tank in Ashrafieh district.
The reporter added that despite the cessation of the war in Idlib, the settlers from Idlib prefer to remain in occupied Afrin, even though their villages and towns do not witness war, and they are under occupation by the Muslim Brotherhood militia, as is the case in Afrin, stressing that the settlers go to their villages and check their property and then return to Afrin due to the advantages of the power that the Turkish occupation army granted them, as well as the attack on the Afrin citizens and their properties.
