Leaders steal salaries of militants; groups of them intend to settle in Libya

Afrinpost – Special

The leaders of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, who call themselves the “Syrian National Army / Free Army”, are looting part of the salaries of their gunmen who returned from Libya on vacation, while some militants intend to go to Libya with their family and settle there.

After the salary of $ 2,000 lured Muslim Brotherhood militants to head towards Libya, a reporter of the “Afrin Post” in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, north of Syria, said that the leader in the militia of the “Sultan Murad Squad”, called “Abu Hamza”, had looted salaries ” $500″ from each of the militants “Abu Eid” and “Abu Odai” , which aroused problems between them.

On the other hand, the reporter said , citing the militants, that some of them will take his family with him to Libya, to settle there, for fear of campaigns that the regime and Russia might launch against the Turkish-occupied areas in northern Syria.

Some news reports had indicated that clashes took place between Syrian “mercenaries” in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, against the backdrop of delaying the payment of salaries, and this has led to a mobilization in the city, and demanding the removal of these militants outside the city.

While the director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on the twelfth of July, there are about 16,000 Syrian mercenaries who arrived in Libya, 5600 of them returned after their contracts ended, and got their money.

The director of the Syrian Observatory pointed out that there are still more than 10 thousand Syrian mercenaries in Libya ready for the battle that the Turkish army demanded of them, which is the battle of the oil fields and Sirte, stressing that this is the main goal for Turkey now.
