Afrinpost – Special

Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, who call themselves the “Syrian National Army / Free Army”, continue to seize and expel the indigenous people from their homes, as a means of blackmail, pressure and restrictions on those who remain in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin.

The militants are seeking to displace them from their homes for the benefit of the settlers from various conflict areas in Syria, especially the countryside of Damascus, Homs, Hama, Aleppo, and Deir Al-Zour, among others.

In the context, the “Afrinpost” reporter at the center said that an armed man from “Failaq Al-Rahman” militia expelled from Damascus countryside seized the house of a displaced Kurdish citizen in the Ashrafieh neighborhood, divided it in half and sold an apartment to one of the settlers.

The correspondent explained that the house belongs to the citizen “Abu Khalil” from the people of the village “Kimar” and is located near the Ashrafieh Park, indicating that a planted mine had exploded by three gunmen in the first days of the occupation, which led to the killing of all of them at that time.

While the gunman rebuilt the rundown parts and divided them into two apartments, he intentionally sold one of them for $ 800, and a settler from Qalamoun in the countryside of Damascus sold the house of another citizen from the village of “Kimar” located in the same area, to another settler from Idlib , for $ 700.

In this regard, preliminary information said that the militia of the “Sultan Murad Brigade” is selling its sector in the Ashrafieh neighborhood to the “Al-Mu’tasim ” militia, where the militia sector extends from the well-known cakes bakery on the Afrin Highway heading to the eastern direction.
