Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood continue to use kidnapping and arrest as a means of blackmail, pressure and restrictions on the remaining Kurdish indigenous people in the occupied Afrin region, with the aim of expelling them from their homes for the benefit of Islamic settlers loyal to them from various conflict areas in Syria.

In the context, the Afrin Post learned from its sources that the “Civil Police” militia, in coordination with the “112th Brigade” militia, conducted on Thursday, April 9, the elderly, “Muhammad Bayram Alo” and the two young men, “Adel Khalil Sidu Hamtko” And “Habash Rashid Habash”, were arrested from their homes in the town of Baadina, in Rajo district, and then they were taken to the first center in the town of Rajo.

The sources indicated that the militia released the elderly hours after his arrest, but the fate of the two youths remains unknown until today.

In the occupied center of Afrin region, gunmen of the “Civil and Military Police” militia stationed at Jenderes Road Checkpoint, which is at the southern entrance to Afrin, arrested the citizen Hussein Qara, who is a resident of Qarmailq village of the Shiye / Sheikh Al-Hadid, under the pretext of being in the Self-Defense Forces, and took him to an unknown destination.

The checkpoint itself witnesses the occupation militias and intelligence services strictly searching the Kurdish citizens exclusively, as the militants check their identities and interrogate the youth at the checkpoint, and they also inspect personal phone devices in search of any pretext to arrest them and extort them financially, which takes the form of “financial guarantees” to release them in order to impoverish them , Drain their finances and displace them.

To that, the Turkish occupation militias released, on Friday, the Kurdish citizen “Radwan Abu Hanan”, a former footballer, who had been kidnapped by the Islamic militias on the twenty-third of March, from his work place in the old Afrin neighborhood and took him to an unknown destination.

The citizen, Radwan, is 50 years old. He is from the village of Muskieh / Maskanli in Jenderes district. He is married and has two children. He played with the Afrin Sports Club in the 1990s.
