“Al-Shamiya” militia imposes a royalty on 50 homes near the industrial area

In this context, a reporter for the “Afrinpost” in the Afrin Center stated that the group called “Ahmed Hashem”, which is affiliated with the militia of the “Al-Shamiya Front”, had imposed a monthly tax, five thousand Syrian pounds, on the owners of houses located near the industrial zone.

The block of targeted residential buildings consists of about fifty houses, which extend from Qaban roundabout to the site of “Hayat” pharmacy.
