“Al-Nukhba” militia releases a Kurdish kidnapee for 250,000 syrian pounds

Today, Thursday, the “Elite Army” “Jaish Al-Nukhba” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood released a Kurdish citizen in the occupied Kurdish autonomous region of Afrin, after being forced to pay a financial ransom, according to the human rights organization – Afrin.

The militia kidnapped the citizen “Abdel Raouf Aref Ibrahim / 48 years old”, on 4/14/2020 from his home in the village of Shekhotka of the district “Mobata / Ma’batli”, on charges of dealing with the previous self-administration, and released him today after forcing him to pay 250 thousand Syrian pounds .

In the same context, the human rights organization said that the militia of “Sultan Murad Brigade” kidnapped the citizen Fouad Ali Kartanji, in 2019, on charges of dealing with the previous self-administration, and his fate is still unknown until now.

Noting that the kidnappers are communicating with his relatives and are demanding 25 million Syrian pounds for his release, while Kartanji was also kidnapped in May 2019, in the Azaz region, and was released after paying a financial ransom of 5 million Syrian pounds.
