The Brotherhood of Syria said, in a tweet published yesterday, Saturday, “The first thing that confirms the legitimacy of the Turkish role in Syria and legitimizes attendance, but denounces the absence, a geopolitical right imposed by the open horizons of the term, and bringing it according to the facts of the times and formulation by simplicity is a right imposed by the neighborhood.”
The term geopolitics applies to the relationship of politics to geography, and is used to link geographic space and political power.
On Saturday, the Turkish occupation army pushed more of its military mechanisms to Idlib, northwestern Syria, in response to the Syrian regime’s progress in the Aleppo countryside and its control of major cities in Idlib Governorate, which strengthens its control over the international route between Aleppo – Hama and the international road between Aleppo – Damascus.

In an official statement, the terrorist group said: “Based on the principle of the unity of the Syrian soil, and facing all projects aimed at dividing Syria. The group announces its support for the decision of the Syrian National Army to participate, under the supervision of the Syrian interim government, in the “Olive Branch” operation, with the support of the Turkish army against terrorist organizations with separatist projects in northern Syria.
In a clear incitement, the organization called for supporting the armed militias of Turkey against the Syrians, in support of the Turkish occupation president Recep Tayyip Erdogan in his steps to defend his country’s national security, as it put it.
The Brotherhood’s support for Erdogan was repeated in Syria again, and in October 2019 when the Turkish army invaded northeastern Syria with its military mechanisms, the Syrian Brotherhood expressed full support for that military invasion, claiming that these practices unified Syrian territory and fought armed militias there.
In a statement, they stressed that Turkey’s interference is an important turning point in the east of the Euphrates to confront the projects of (terrorism and separation), and they charged the displacement of the people to the People’s Protection Units, and the charges are against them, as it is known that the so-called (Syrian National Army) affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood is composed Most of the remnants of ISIS and Al-Nusra.
At a time when it was still calling on the Syrian Kurds to limit the dialogue to the Syrian parties, the Brotherhood insists on raising the Turkish flag by its militants, in a clear indication of their desire to divide Syria after their failure to overthrow the regime and control the capital, Damascus, where all the militants of the organization withdrew With Turkish orders, to undoubtedly prove their currency to him, and their implementation of his expansionist orders and agendas in the region, the last of which is sending them as mercenaries to Libya, a situation that does not differ from their reality when they attacked Afrin or Ras al-Ain, or Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, and others, before destroying them and then withdrawing from them while they run the tails of disappointment Defeat and disgrace.
The situation in Idlib is exacerbated by the continued clashes between the Syrian regime and the invading Turkish forces, which launched an attack that killed dozens of people at sites of the Syrian regime on Friday, while the Syrian regime announced its control of the second Mohandessin countryside and the Silo roundabout in the western countryside of Aleppo, two weeks after declaring its control of the city Maarat al-Numan Strategic in Idlib.
