Afrinpost – Special
Information continues about the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood expelling the indigenous Kurdish population from their homes in several villages in the occupied Kurdish Afrin region, in order to resettle those fleeing the Idlib governorate, who are arriving to the region in large numbers.
In this context, an official in what is called the “Civil Defense Organization / White Helmets” seized a residential building in the Ashrafieh neighborhood and rented it to those fleeing the Idlib city.
The Afrinpost correspondent confirmed that an official in the White Helmets Organization, who is from Idlib governorate, has seized residential building not equipped to live in, belonging to the “Galu’ot family” of the Arab component, indicating that the building is located near the “Asayish Ashrafiya / formerly” building, and he rented the apartments to the people of Idlib, after barley cladding them .
The incident is only a continuation of the ongoing robberies and seizures since the occupation of Afrin, where Islamic militias in most villages prevented many citizens from returning to their homes and properties after seizing them, on the pretext that they had become military headquarters for Islamic militias, or settlers with families of the militants had settled there!
The “Afrinpost” correspondent had indicated on the eighteenth of February, that the militia of “Ahrar Al-Sharqia” affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood had taken control of 6 shops on the Afrin Jenderes Road, within an industrial gathering point known as “Rojava Lathe”.
The reporter noted that a number of these shops were occupied by settlers from Eastern Ghouta, but the “Ahrar Al-Sharqia” militia placed its hand on all of these shops in light of the displacement of the real Kurdish owners, and the settlers descending from Ghouta fleeed the militants of the eastern region, a situation that has become common between Armed men and their families, as each militia protects its supporters from the area from which they originally came from.
The reporter pointed out that a number of these stores have been transferred to a second-hand clothing collection center, where a number of large trucks were there, and their number reached about ten trucks, which indicates the militia’s intention to trade in the second-hand clothes as well.
