Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood who are known as the (Syrian National Army / Free Army) intent to fabricate clashes between each other, with the aim of creating confusion and putting more pressure on Kurdish civilians, under the supervision of Turkish intelligence, to have to leave their land and reach a more comprehensive demographic change than what It is currently in place in the former Kurdish autonomous region of Afrin, northern Syria.
In this context, the Afrinpost reporter recorded yesterday, Sunday, a tension between the militia of “Jaish al-Islam”, whose majority are from Damascus countryside, and the Al-Shamiya Front” militia whose majority are from the northern countryside of Aleppo, due to the dispute over the right of any militants to seize On “A House” located in Ashrafieh neighborhood, in Nazlet El-Servis.
The reporter said that the house was seized by a settler belonging to the militia of “Jaish Al-Islam”, while the militia of the “Al-Shamiya Front” demanded that the house be evacuated on the pretext of granting it to the family of one of its dead, as they expelled him from the house belonging to a citizen of the village of “Qibare / A’rsh Qibar”, The settler asked help from “Jaish Al-Islam” militia, which led to an armed clash between the two parties, ended with the settler being expelled from the house he seized, in favor of the militia’s takeover of the “Al-Shamiya Front” militia.
Since the occupation of Afrin, the Islamic militias under the supervision of the Turkish occupation divided the villages and areas of Afrin into sectors, where a certain militia stationed in each sector, and monopolized for itself the seizure of the property of the displaced Kurds, the theft of their property and theft of their homes.
However, the disagreement of these militias over their stolen portions of influence, barriers, and impetus, in many cases, leads them to carry out bombings against their competitors, attributed to ISIS or the Kurdish forces, or the clash between them, which is repeated in other areas occupied by militants from Jarablus to Azaz.
The fighting between the militants of the Turkish occupation is also used as a way to justify the demographic change and settlement operations in Afrin. In January 2019, the Turkish occupation, on the pretext of fighting between Al-Nusra and Al-Zanki, entered large numbers of the latter’s militants accompanied by their families to settle in the villages of Afrin, coming from the western countryside of Aleppo and from Idlib And its countryside, where about three thousand “Zanki” armed men and their families arrived in Jenderes district.
After that, the militias again began forcing Kurdish families in a number of villages to evacuate their homes, with the aim of settling the families of militia militants in them, on the pretext that the “Al-Nusra Front” had expelled them from the western countryside of Aleppo and Idlib countryside.
At that time, the Afrinpost correspondents reported that the Islamist “Al-Hamza” militia forced many Kurdish families in the villages (Marateh, Gunde Mazen, Jouqeh, and Dargreh) to leave them, with the aim of settling the families of the Islamic militias, while convoys of those expelled from the families of the “Nur al-Din” militia Al-Zanki, Saqour Al-Sham, Ahrar Al-Sham, Al-Ahrar Army, etc., on a daily basis to the Kurdish region of Afrin“15 buses daily”.
