Once displaced people to Afrin become tools of the Turkish occupation in order to kill the Kurds

Afrinpost

After Afrin received during the era of Self-Administration more than 300 thousand displaced from the rest of the Syrian regions, as a result of the security and safety it had before its invasion by the Turkish occupation and the armed Islamic militias affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood organization, a large number of these turned into daggers stabbed the side of the Kurds the natives became displaced, and those who entered Afrin, displaced by the death that followed, became a settler in the land of the indigenous people, who were strengthened by gunmen who spread death wherever they were.

“After being a safe haven for displaced Arab families from different parts of Syria for seven years, Afrin has now become a stronghold of armed factions that are not very different from ISIS.

” The families that we welcomed, helped, and housed among us and in our homes and fed them with our food and grief, have now taken over our homes, lands and property, and have become the sword that fight against us, I feel very sorry for their dependence and servitude to the Turks and the humiliation of those who once helped them. ”

Ceyhan refers to the seizure of the homes of indigenous Kurds in Afrin and villages and seized by the Islamic militias of the Turkish occupation, by placing signs or writing names on the walls.

Following the Turkish military occupation of Afrin in March 2018, activists warned of Afrin against the consequences of the settlement operations that the Turks seek to establish in the form of Israeli settlements in the Palestinian territories, which threatened to repeat the experience of the Arab belt applied by the Syrian regime in Jazeera, by dispossessing the Kurds of their properties and distributing them to others, they brought them from the Euphrates basin.

The Kurdish political forces and the people of Afrin, consider that the Turkish presence accompanied by Islamic militias as illegal military occupation, and therefore all the facts in their era are exceptional and circumstantial, linked to the existence of the occupation.

In the context of the demographic change practiced by the Turkish occupation, in December 2018, a video clip showed one of the settlers from the Qaboun neighborhood of the Syrian capital, Damascus, has settled in the village of “Meydan Akbes”, and called during the video clip all his peers to come to the village in order to change its name to “Qaboun”, and seize houses and property in them.

The settler said during the video: “Greetings to you Abu Kassem, everything is ready here waiting for you, and this is the village, gather all the young people to make (another Qaboun), where there are several empty villages here, and continues saying:“ Here is the village they gave us, they told us to bring all the people of our region to stay here, these houses are all empty, and that mosque we will call (the Great Mosque), and we lack nothing here, ”Let us make (another Qaboon) here”.

The practices of the settlers accompanying the Islamic militias of the Turkish occupation resulted in the loss of several elderly citizens of their lives, as a result of the oppression felt by the inability to return to their homes, which have spent their lives building them.

Ramzi Hussein from the village of Meydan Akbes, who returned to his village months after his displacement in 2018, but did not see his house empty and its fate was like the fate of most of the houses of the village, seized by one of the leaders of the Islamic militias of the Turkish occupation called Abu Murhaf al-Homsi, a leader in the Failaq al-Sham militia, surrounded himself with some of his brothers and sisters to prevent anyone from approaching the house. As a result of threats and cursing against the Kurdish citizen Ramzi Hussein’ when he demanded his home, the Kurdish citizen was martyred as a result of a heart attack.

The Islamic militias are armed against the Afrians with Turkish weapons and equipment, knowing that they are an occupation force on the Kurdish region, and that they have contributed to the killing of hundreds of Kurdish fighters and civilians from the region, as the invaders of the Islamic militias armed the Turkish pretend that the Kurds are separatists, to justify their invasion of the region.

The president of the Turkish regime Erdogan had said before the invasion of Afrin in January 2018, that the proportion of the Kurdish population in Afrin is 40%, and that he wants to return Afrin to its real owners, in reference to his efforts to demographic change in the Kurdish region.

The Turkish Interior Ministry announced in May that 330,000 Syrians had returned to Syria, in the areas occupied by Turkey in the north of the country, where most of them are resettled in Afrin, in addition to the settlers brought from the villages of Homs and Damascus. Settling settlers from Idlib in Afrin under the pretext of the fighting there.
