The Turkish occupation militias continue to arrest and kidnap the remaining inhabitants of the occupied Afrin region in an attempt to harass them and force them to leave their homes in favor of the pro-Turkish settlers.
Activists reported that Failaq al-Sham” militia raided a number of houses in the village of Kabashin of Shirawa district, abducting six Kurdish citizens, and took them to its abduction center in Iska village.
The activists added that the militia gunmen kidnapped: (Yassin Abdo Mohammed – Riad Qusho Esso – Ghassan Loay Iso – Mohammed Abdul Qader Hnedi – Ismail Hamo Haidar – Zaher Suleiman Abdo).
The Islamic militias rely on kidnapping as a means of obtaining money, one of the tactics they have followed since the beginning of the Afrin occupation, while the Turkish occupation oversees these operations as one of the methods of displacing the Kurds and preventing the displaced from returning.
