“Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia expels a Kurdish man from his olive oil field .. And picking the season in front of his eyes

The Islamic militias of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, known as the Free Army, the National Army, continue to loot and steal olive crops throughout the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin uncontrollably.

In the same context, a reporter for “Afrinpost” in the center of the province that gunmen from the militia “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” assaulted sticks on the Kurdish farmer “Mohammed Khalil Abu Nuri”, and expelled him from his olive field, and then harvested the crop in front of his eyes.

The correspondent pointed out that the seventy Abu Nuri, a native of the village “Korzileh / Qrzahil”, owns a field containing more than 1500 olive trees near the neighborhood of Mahmudiya in the center of the city of Afrin.

With the start of the olive season this year, the settlers, accompanied by armed thieving occupation militias, went to olive groves in various villages, stealing olives and selling large quantities of them for their own benefit.

At the beginning of last October, “Al-Nukhba army” militia in the areas of Mobata / Ma’batli and Bulbula imposed a sum of 150 Syrian pounds on each olive tree, whether loaded with fruits or not, in the villages (Shekhotka – Amara – Aboudan – Zaytounak – Omer Hmou – Haftar – Kordo) belonging to the two district.

Sultan Murad’s militia threatened the owners of the olive groves in the village of Medaki in the Shara / Sharan district if the olive season was not harvested within two days, otherwise they would be free to take over the season, the Afrinpost correspondent in the district said.

On the other hand, “Janders” district handled a meeting of the occupation mukhtars in the district center and its villages, to discuss campaigns of theft and looting that affect olive crops belonging to the indigenous people of Afrin.

The season until the residents finish harvesting their crops, in exchange for paying 2% of the total crop.
