The reporter for “Afrinpost” in the center of the Kurdish region of Afrin,confirmed the kidnapping of the militia “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya” of the Turkish occupation on Tuesday, the young man “Bashir Mustafa”, from his shop next to the Dersem hospital on the western highway in the city.
The correspondent said that the gunmen of the militia of “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya” raided the the house of the kidnapee “Mustafa”, which is located close to his shop, and then they took him to one of its prisons in the city of Afrin.
The reporter pointed out that the militia gunmen stole an amount of money and some goldsmiths from the house of “Mustafa” on the western highway during the kidnapping, pointing out that the kidnapping’s aim is to extort and to get a financial ransom.
“Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia seizes buildings and residential compounds on the highway inside Afrin, where royalties and taxes are imposed on shopkeepers, and they invest shops belonging to the displaced Kurds for their own benefit.
Afrin has witnessed daily abductions targeting the indigenous population by the Islamic militias of the Turkish occupation, in order to extort them and get a financial ransom for their release, where the fate of thousands of abductees remains unknown since the beginning of the occupation, including women and girls.
