Sultan Murad’s militia releases the mayor of Ikidam village after three months of abduction.

The Turkish proxy occupation militia, Sultan Murad, on Monday released Nabih Omar, a resident of Ikidam village in Shara/Sharan district of the occupied Kurdish province of Afrin of the former Autonomous Administration. Local sources told Afrin Post correspondent in Shara/Sharan area that a military vehicle belonging to the Sultan Murad militia threw Nabih Omar, the mayor of Ikidam village, in the agricultural lands in Qastal Jando village before he which arrived at his house in the village.
Omar was kidnapped three months ago by the Sultan Murad militia on charges of dealing with the forme Autonomous Administration, while it was not known whether Omar had paid a ransom for his release.
The “Sultan Murad” militia occupies several villages in the Shara/Sharan area of the eastern Afrin countryside, including Qastal Jindo, Ikidam, Der Siwan and Shiltate. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights issued a long report on Sunday, on the Turkish militant proxy, the “Sultan Murad Division”, which is the largest and most powerful militia in the areas of the “Euphrates Shield” and occupied Afrin.
The Observatory confirmed that the militia “Sultan Murad” has been engaged in all kinds of violations against Syrians and non-Syrians who are in their grip, and did not hesitate to use all kinds of psychological and physical torture against detainees in its notorious prison on the Syrian border with Turkey.
The Observatory pointed out that the attacks and violations of the “Sultan Murad” militia affected female fighters in the Protection Units who were captured during the aggression on Afrin, after they were detained for a period in the notorious “Al-Rai” prison.
