Looting properties and robbing Kurdish people’s money in Afrin

AFRINPOST

The Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation continue their aggressions and violations against the remaining Kurds in the Kurdish region of Afrin/Rojava and who are being subjected to various kinds of crimes.

Militants from the Islamic free Eastern militia on Thursday night raided the house of the Kurdish Omar Arous, seventy-five years old, who was in the village of Kora/Kora in Rajo/Reco. They handcuffed him and then robbed him of a sum of 400 US dollars and 25,000 L.S pounds, according to activists.

Islamist militias seem to take advantage of the presence of vulnerable people who are unable to defend themselves, especially the infirm and the elderly, to pillage and rob their property.

There are many other similar incidents happened since the occupation of the Turkey and the radical Islamic militias.
What these militias are doing is they raid the houses of the Kurdish citizens and loot the properties and the money from the families.
Many of the cases of looting that affect the property of civil citizens by armed Islamic militias are referred to as a result of the denial of the victims ‘ fear of reprisals, as well as of the Turkish occupation, which has prevented the neutral media from entering the Kurdish region, since is was occupied by Turkish occupation and its militias in March 2018.
