A settler shoots a Kurdish man in the village of Qantare/Qenterê

AFRINPOST

Activists from the countryside of Afrin province/Rojava confirmed that a settler from the armed militants of the Turkish occupation and Islamic militia fired at an elderly Kurdish during his grazing his sheep, and activists said that the 80-year-old Kurdish “Ali Qelender” was injured when he was in his land in the village of Qantara in the area of Mabata/Mabeta.

According to the sources, the bomber was the son of a “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiah” militia, who fired at the elderly for no reason, from a nearby building.

During the presence of militants of Islamic militias in Aleppo, the phenomenon of indiscriminate sniping spread dramatically among civilians, while militants of Islamic militias accused regime forces of implementing them.

The settlers, especially from the rural areas of northern Aleppo (Azaz, Mari´, Tal rafaat and Menagh), and others, show the worst dealings with the indigenous Kurds of Afrin, where they view the Kurds in general from the logic of hostility, and are considered the most serving of the Turkish agendas.
