“Alamshat” islamic militia affiliated with Turkish occupation continues lawlessness in ” Shiye/Şiyê and assault citizens and imposes new royalties on them.
The militia of the Turkish Occupation Brigade Suleiman Shah (Alamshat) continues to violate the Kurdish citizens of the Shiye/Şiyê area of the former autonomous province of Afrin/Rojava amid fear and anxiety over new measures aimed at exerting more pressure on the Kurdish people.
According to a local source said to AFRINPOST a disagreement between Kurdish grocer Ibrahim Amin Sheikh Omar and settlers ‘ families about the price and quality of his goods intervened as a result one of the gunmen of the Islamic “alamshat” militia beat the Kurdish grocer badly in the Kaniya Şiyê Square in the center of Shiye/Şiyê, which led to injury .On the one hand , the “Alamshat” Islamic militia collects identity cards from widows as well as citizens whose restrictions are not registered in order to rob their homes and impose “tribute” on them, according to sources from the area.
The “Alamshat” militia was circulated to farmers in the villages under its occupation by “alms/Zakat”, AFRINPOST said in a report on Sunday, adding that every farmer must pay one container of olive oil for at least the current season, on charges of working with self-management , although local occupation councils imposed on Kurdish farmers varying proportions over the season, a share of them went to Islamist militias.
On Sunday, militants of the Sultan Suleiman Shah (Alamshat) militia assaulted “Mustafa Sheikho”, a member of the local occupation council in Shiye/Şiyê for submitting complaints regarding abuses committed by militias to a Turkish occupation delegation that was estimated to have visited the town.
