The questions of the International Commission of Inquiry during the meeting focused on the distribution centers of the Turkish army, the presence of Turkish flags above the institutions and the quality of the factions in the region, indicated Misto.
The media activist confirmed that the theft of olive oil was widely echoed at the meeting as the International Commission inquired about “how to steal and export routes through Turkey?
“We also met with officials of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), and the discussion focused on the file on resettlement and displacement,” she added. The delegation handed over a written note in English containing demands that the Turkish occupation and its Islamic militias be terminated in the Kurdish region of Afrin with a complete documentation file on violations and crimes, according to Amina Misto.
