Turkish Shelling Injures Civilian and Causes Destruction in Northern Aleppo

Turkish forces stationed in the northern Aleppo city of Mare’ launched artillery and heavy machine gun fire on Tuesday evening, targeting the village of Harbel in the Shahba region, north of Aleppo.

According to our correspondent, the assault left a civilian, Mustafa Abdullah Hassan, injured. He was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. In addition to the injury, the attack caused significant material damage to civilian properties and instilled panic among the village’s residents.

Earlier the same day, Haytham Abdul Rahman Issa, a 42-year-old civilian, died from severe injuries sustained during Turkish shelling of Aqiba village in Sherawa sub-district, southeastern Afrin. Issa was struck when Turkish forces and their affiliated Syrian National Army militias directly targeted civilian homes, leading to substantial destruction and further exacerbating fears among locals.
